Stadtkeller: Asep Stone Experience

Asep, born in Indonesia, has been playing the guitar since he was a child - he spent up to 18 hours a day teaching himself the craft. He played his first gig at the "Gladiator Rocks Festival" in Bandung at the age of 16 in front of 20,000 people. He later toured England with his band "Stone Free" and was invited to perform with Hendrix bassist Noel Redding at a Jimi Hendrix auction in 2004. After the concert, Redding described Asep as "the closest thing to Hendrix". Today he lives in Zurich and thrills audiences with his Hendrix live show: virtuoso guitar playing, unbridled energy and pure passion.
