This accessible castle ruin from the 13th century is the best preserved in the canton of Lucerne. From the viewing platform inside the tower, you can enjoy an impressive panorama of the Alps, the Central Plateau and the moated castle of Wyher.

Walk through the fairytale beech forest up the hill to the Kastelen castle ruins and enjoy the peace and quiet and the magnificent panorama. Two fireplaces invite you to have a picnic and WC facilities are available. The Burgrain adventure farm with its farm store and restaurant and the Swiss Agricultural Museum are just a 15-minute walk away.
