The Melchsee-Frutt cable car take guests from Stöckalp to the Melchsee-Frutt high plateau at 1,920 meters above sea level in just a few minutes. By car: From Zurich, take the A4 highway to Lucerne and continue towards Interlaken. At Hergiswil take the A8 towards Sarnen. At Sarnen Nord, take the exit to Kerns and continue to Stöckalp. Parking available directly at the valley station.
By train: From Lucerne or Interlaken take the Zentralbahn (zb) to Sarnen station. Then take the post bus to the terminus at Stöckalp
