This bathing area is a popular meeting place for the residents of Lucerne. In addition to swimming and sunbathing, people come here to meditate, do yoga, dance, attend concerts and play cards.

The bathing is located on a slope, it is smaller and gets the sun, though there are several shady trees, too. The shore area has a varied layout with blocks of stone and non-swimmer pools of different depths. Here you can paddle, bathe your feet and watch the fish.

Directions

Take bus no. 1 from Lucerne station as far as Ebikon Falken. Rotsee Badi is located very close to the bus stop. Parking spaces are available near the bathing facilities.

Openings

The Badi is open daily from May 1 to September 30, 2026 from 9.30 a.m. to 8 p.m., weather permitting. On hot days, bathing is possible until 8.30 pm.
