Mountain lake
The Seelisberger Seeli is an idyllic natural bathing lake in Seelisberg above Lake Lucerne.
Situated at the foot of the striking Niederbauen, Seelisberg's local mountain, the Seelisberger Seeli is a popular excursion destination for bathers and those seeking relaxation. In midsummer, the mountain lake reaches a water temperature of over 20°.

There is a natural bathing area and a campsite right next to the crystal-clear mountain lake. The ticket office and kiosk at the natural bathing area are open daily from mid-May to the beginning of September. Admission is subject to a charge.

Directions & Parking facilities

By public transportation:
From Stans train station, take PostBus 311 to the “Seelisberg, Geissweg” stop. From there, it’s about a 5-minute walk.

By car:
To get there by car, take the A2 highway to the Beckenried exit. From there, the mountain road leads through Emmetten to Seelisberg.
