The cable car takes you from Lungern to Turren in just a few minutes. A short walk takes you to the Turrengrat barbecue area with its magnificent view of Central Switzerland and the Bernese Alps.

A large fire bowl and 4 smaller barbecue areas, fresh water and wood are ready for you. Generously laid out with tables, benches, stools and a hut.

The path to the Turrengrat is accessible without restrictions and is suitable for wheelchairs and baby carriages. The new path makes it possible for our guests with physical disabilities to have a great experience on Turren. Of course, the barbecue area is also easy to reach for families with small children and baby carriages.

Arrival: From Lungern railroad station approx. 20 min walk: Follow Bahnhofstrasse to the main road, cross it. Then continue on Seestrasse/Badmattweg/Loppastrasse. Turn right onto Obseestrasse. Follow Obseestrasse to the valley station of the Turren cable car. Take the cable car up, turn right at the top station. Parking spaces at the valley station.

The Turrengrat barbecue site is listed with the Swiss family fireplaces.
