The easily walkable path leads from Rigi Staffel to Rigi Scheidegg or vice versa. At various stations, Margrit tells about her life on the alp. In addition, visitors can deepen their knowledge of the alpine herders' world and learn where delicious Rigi alpine products can be obtained.
The Alpine Experience Trail Rigi delights the whole family
With Reto and his Saint Bernard dog Barry, children can explore the alp on the Alpine Experience Trail. A picture book, which also includes a puzzle, leads from station to station. Once all stations have been visited and the correct solution word found, a small surprise can be collected at one of the Rigi Bahn stations - whether Rigi Staffel, Rigi Scheidegg, Kaltbad, Vitznau, or Goldau. The picture book of Reto and Barry can be obtained at the aforementioned Rigi Bahn stations.

Rigi Staffel, the starting point of the hike, can be reached via Vitznau and Goldau by cogwheel railway or by cable car and cogwheel railway from Weggis.
