Alpoglen Trail, Mörlialp

The Alpoglen Trail starts from the Bergrestaurant Mörlialp, located at the foot of the Giswilerstock. As you pass along the edge of the forest and then through it, skiers can be heard from afar. We stay off the slopes and listen exclusively to the sounds of nature.

After about half-an-hour, we leave the forest behind and enjoy the views over Lake Sarnen; we might even catch sight of chamois, which often search for food on the steep slopes. After a short traverse, the destination at Alp Alpoglen is visible: the Bullybar, where you can lie back in deckchairs and let your gaze wander once more over the Saarneraa valley. The descent is now leisurely. The Bergrestaurant Mörlialp is reached along the same route.
