The hike starts from the village center of Andermatt, going through the Wyler district up to Nätschen and then past the Oberalpsee to the Oberalppass.

The hike starts in the idyllic village center of Andermatt. At the roundabout, where the village bakery and Coop are located, head up to the Wyler district. At first, you walk along the sidewalk of the road until the hiking trail leaves on the right side after the train underpass (small bridge where the train passes over). Then it goes uphill past beautiful flower meadows to Nätschen. Along the way, you have an impressive view of the Ursern valley. Upon arriving at Nätschen, the path continues past cow pastures and the Oberalpsee to the Oberalppass. Once at the top, a jump into the refreshing and cool water is worthwhile.
