Motorway A2 (Basel-Chiasso-Italy)

- Exit Beckenried/Emmetten.

Emmetten is about 20 km south of Lucerne.

Parking lot directly at the valley station of the Stockhütte gondola for CHF 5.-/day.

Take the SBB to Lucerne, change to the Zentralbahn to Stans, change again and take the bus to Emmetten.

By ship: Scheduled ship Lucerne - Beckenried - Flüelen - also in winter
