This route takes us on varied paths past cultural treasures such as the St. Urban monastery and Altishofen castle. On the hilly trail, there is plenty of time to enjoy the beautiful landscape.

The route starts at Willisau train station and runs along the Herzroute 99 through the picturesque old town towards Zell. There we turn onto route 38 and head north to Pfaffnau. To visit the St. Urban monastery, we travel 6 km on route 84 towards Langenthal. The impressive building is visible from afar.

After visiting the monastery church and sculpture park, we return on the same route 84 towards Dagmersellen. Before Dagmersellen, we turn onto route 73, which continues to follow the Wigger stream until the path turns westward and we pass the vineyards of the Bisang winery. Shortly after comes the next highlight, Altishofen castle with its magnificent parish church.

We pass through Nebikon and follow the Wigger again. To the east opens the wide plain of the Wauwilermoos. Near Alberswil, we see the Kastelen castle ruin, which towers on the hill to the east. We follow route 93 to the Agrovision organic farm, where we make one last stop before following route 38 along the Planetenweg back to Willisau.
