Discover a total of 50 km of routes in classic and skating styles on the Marbach-Escholzmatt-Bumbach network, enjoying the incomparable view. At the Mooshof neighborhood you find the entrance to the Escholzmatt-Tellenmoos return route. The route runs evenly through idyllic countryside to the Tellenmoos. There are no big downhill sections or climbs on the way, so this route is very suitable for beginners or leisure skiers. Afterwards, you return along the same path to the village of Escholzmatt. If you want to glide further through the snow, you have several options in and around Escholzmatt: the Escholzmatt-Industrie circular route or the Escholzmatt-Wiggen circular route. Or you can ski to Wiggen and further to Marbach or even via Bumbach to Kemmeriboden.

With all passes and tickets for the cross-country ski routes, you travel free of charge during the winter season on the post bus route Escholzmatt-Kemmeriboden! There are 15 post bus stops along the route.

  • Carry additional sun protection. UV rays at high altitudes can be very strong in winter, even in cloudy weather.
