Family hike Experience trail Gurtnellen
In Gurtnellen Wiler we leave the Gotthard road, go down into the village, cross the Reuss and follow the Reuss towards the Rhine. After 5 minutes we arrive at a beautiful playground on the Reussmätteli. Here we take a long break until the children have tired themselves out.
We follow the Reuss and the Gotthard mountain route up to Fellitobel. There we cross the Reuss via a suspension bridge. We cross the Wassner forest, which was feared in the Middle Ages because of a band of robbers. At Felliboden we can still grill some robber sausages on the square before we start the final descent.
In Meitschligen we cross the Reuss for the last time and board the post bus again.
