The hike from Klausen Pass to Wannelen is a magnificent natural event and an unforgettable cultural experience.

We start from Klausen Pass towards Brunnital. A gentle ascent on a wide natural path leads us to Chammlialp. Here we have already reached the highest point of the hike. At Alpbeilzli we rest and have the alpine family explain the mountain world to us. From here, you can also climb the well-known Scherhorn.

The path gently descends to Chammlitritt. Here begins a short steep descent to Oberalp. The alpine museum shows us how traditional alpine farming has been done here for centuries. A second short break before we tackle the last section.

Now comes the second descent to Nideralp, the Hüenderli. From Nideralp we walk flat through a beautiful natural forest to Wannelen. Here we take another hearty afternoon snack in the alpine hut before the cable car takes us back to the busy hustle and bustle in the valley.
