Urnerboden is the largest alpine pasture for cows in Switzerland. The route is a great nature experience. Children can run around everywhere and play in nature.

We start at Klausen Pass. The path always goes slightly downhill. We cross the first upper plateau of the Urnerboden, Vorfrutt. There are small alpine inns everywhere where we can eat. The unique view over the entire Urnerboden is known from the TV crime series "Wilder". Twice we have to briefly cross the road. Then we come down into the valley. At Waldhüttli we reach the actual grazing area of the cows. We hike over Gand, oberster Wang and Hergersboden to Port. Here is the actual village of Urnerboden. The settlement is still inhabited all year round.

For children, the most beautiful section follows along the Fätschbach stream up to just before Argseeli. Now we turn left to the road, where the route ends at the post bus stop.
