From Gütsch via Sonnenberg to Kriens

With the Gütschbahn, you reach the Hotel Gütsch, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the city of Lucerne and Lake Lucerne. From there, the path gently ascends through the Gütsch forest. Soon you reach Sonnenberg, offering a fantastic view of Kriens, Lucerne, and the Pilatus. A detour to the Ränggloch is worthwhile. From Hotel Sonnenberg, the path leads through the forest in about 30 minutes to the highest point of Sonnenberg and from there down to the Ränggstrasse. On a narrow path, you can smell the Ränggloch. A pedestrian bridge crosses the narrow gorge. From Ränggloch, the path takes about 20 minutes to the bus stop in Obernau. From there, the bus comfortably takes you back to the city.
