Tour

An alpine trail experience for fit bikers. The Furka Höhenweg (also: Urschner Höhenweg) rewards with panoramic views of Furka, Gotthard, and Oberalp passes as well as a varied route between natural idyll, engineering, and plenty of high-altitude air.

The route begins in Andermatt and gently follows the Furkareuss to Realp. On side roads, gravel paths, and a first trail section, you can fully enjoy the valley. From Realp, the route ascends on the pass road to Tiefenbach. Those who wish can shorten this section by PostBus (Attention: Make a reservation for the PostBus).

Then follows the final ascent to Tätsch. At the top begins the real trail fun: The Höhenweg offers spectacular views, playful sections, and short, sharp climbs. The final descent through the wide valley basin to Andermatt requires concentration but remains rideable. At the destination, Andermatt offers places to rest and bike wash stations—ideal for relaxing and enjoying.
