The funicular takes cross-country skiers from Titlis valley station quickly into the winter wonderland Gerschnialp. The 8.4-kilometer long and varied trail starts just a short distance from the Gerschnialp mountain station. A small shuttle bus bridges the distance to the trail. Experienced skiers tackle the first meters to the track on the piste. Once the skis are mounted, off you go through the open forest. The snow muffles the quiet sliding sounds on the trail and lets you really enjoy the peace of nature. In between, the short, intense ascents raise the pulse a bit and heavy breaths create white puffs rising to the sky. Need a break? The guesthouse Gerschnialp - Café Ritz right next to the trail invites you to pause. A warm cup of tea melts frozen fingers again. Ready for a new round, it goes gently downhill towards Untertrübsee. At the end of the training session, the funicular takes you back to the valley.
