You start at Sachseln train station and follow the path to the end of the lake to the Zollhaus. From around early April to the end of October, there is the option to return to Sachseln by boat from here. Information about the timetable is available at www.ms-seestern.ch

From the Zollhaus, the path continues along the A8 via Brünigstrasse to Giswil train station.
