Hike
The varied hike starts at Menzberg, which in autumn is often already above the fog line, and leads to the summit of the Napf, where we are rewarded with a fantastic view.

From Menzberg, the route follows a pleasant high trail along the ridge with gentle ups and downs. Soon you reach the Chrotthütten, an SAC hut that is staffed on Sundays.

The next section of the hike leads steeply up through the forest. At Stächelegg, the wonderful panorama of the Bernese Alps and a cozy alpine hut surprise you. After the next bend, a rock outcrop called the Hengst (1371 m) appears. The view down into the legendary Änziloch, where the Klein Fontanne springs, is truly impressive. There is also a campfire site with benches.

Soon the Napf (1406 m) with its distinctive triangulation point is reached. From here, in clear weather, there is a beautiful panoramic view over Switzerland and towards the Black Forest and the Vosges.

The path down to the valley leads through the forest and then along the hillside ridge to Hübeli with the post bus stop.
