Piz Tiarms

  • Difficulty: medium
  • Condition: easy
  • Great panorama
  • Ski and Snowboard
Located across from the popular Pazola Peak, this summit offers a rewarding alternative with impressive views and great runs.

Piz Tiarms is a clear "underdog" and has a lot to offer.

The ski tour to Piz Tiarms can start either at the Oberalp Pass or, when the ski area is open, at Schneehüenerstock. From there, the route first leads up to the Fellilücke. Even here, a beautiful view opens up over the Fellital valley and on into the Reuss Valley in Uri.

The route then continues toward the Wyssenlücke. A ski depot is set up there before the final meters of elevation gain to the summit of Piz Tiarms are covered on foot. Once at the top, you’ll be rewarded with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains.

For the descent, there are two options to choose from:

  • Return via the same route.
  • Descend into Val Val to the chairlift station and, depending on conditions, continue on to Tschamutt.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
