RadArena/St.Gotthard: Gotthard (2091 m) – Lukmanier (1914 m) - Oberalp (2046 m)

From Andermatt, continue one village further to Hospental. Then you ride up to the Gotthard Pass. At the pass, you can make a museum stop or visit the Gotthard fortress Sasso San Gottardo.

On the descent into Ticino, you have the choice between the historic cobblestone street Tremola with tight hairpin bends or the wide Gotthard Pass road. From Airolo, you continue via the Piotta gorge, where the former Uri customs station Dazio Grande is also located. Treat yourself to a refreshment in one of the cool grottoes in Biasca before conquering the Lukmanier Pass. After the effort, enjoy a picnic by the stream.

At the foot of the Lukmanier, the Disentis Monastery awaits your visit. You then continue towards the Oberalp Pass, along the young Rhine and through authentic Grisons mountain villages. From afar, you see the Rotterdam lighthouse near the Rhine source. Finally, you head back towards Andermatt, where you have a great view of the valley.
