Join Rondo and his friend Sam Salamander on a special mission.
The wise mountain witch has lost her magical powers – only those who solve the puzzles along the way can find the magic stones and help her regain her powers.The trail is about 1.8 kilometers long and takes around 30 minutes to complete, with eight varied puzzle stations along the way. A real highlight is the 374-meter-long “Skywalk” pedestrian suspension bridge, which you cross along the way.
The trail is also easily accessible with strollers and is in summer an winter open.
How does the Puzzle trail work?
First, grab a puzzle booklet that you'll find at the mountian station. You will team up with Rondo and Sam to solve 8 tasks. At each station, an exciting task and a magic stone with a letter await you. Collect all the letters to decipher the secret magic word at the end.Once you have found the correct magic word, you will not only help the wise mountain witch, but you will also be entered into the monthly prize draw.

From Lucerne:
Take the A4/E41 motorway to exit 39. Leave the motorway towards Schwyz, Sattel, and Einsiedeln, then follow the signs for Sattel. Immediately before the village of Sattel, turn left onto Schlagstrasse and then right onto the Sattel-Hochstuckli cable car parking lot.
From Ticino:
Take the A2/E35 motorway to exit 36. Leave the motorway towards Altdorf, Schwyz, and Zurich, then follow the road towards Schwyz and Sattel. Immediately before the village of Sattel, turn left onto Schlagstrasse and then right onto the Sattel-Hochstuckli cable car parking lot.
From Zurich:
Take the A3 motorway to exit 37. Leave the motorway towards Richterswil, Einsiedeln, Samstagern, and follow the road towards Sattel and Schwyz. In Sattel, turn left onto Mostelbergstrasse and then left again onto Sommerschwendistrasse.
Parking
Paid parking is available at the Sattel-Hochstuckli valley station.
By public transport
Take the train to Schwyz station. Then take the bus to Schwyz Zentrum, where you can change buses and take the bus towards Sattel - Rothenthurm - Schindellegi. Route 507.
