Fast sliding fun at the foot of the Grosser Mythen: The route runs from the mountain station of the Rotenfluebahn to the Rätigs middle station. A steeper section at the beginning and a winding passage through the forest provide variety. Still, there is enough time to enjoy the pre-Alpine panorama.

With the Rotenfluebahn you go up to the beautiful winter landscape of the Mythen region. The ride up is already spectacular: In the background tower the two Mythen, the symbol of Schwyz. All around the view wanders towards the pre-Alps with Lake Lucerne and Lake Lauerz. The Mythen region is a real insider tip for nature lovers, connoisseurs and explorers.

With views of the Glarus and Uri Alps, the sledging track towards the Rätigs middle station starts right at the mountain station of the Rotenfluebahn. The prepared route first follows the edge of the forest until it dives into the forest shortly before the Holzegg ski lodge. The steeper section at the beginning and the winding forest section afterwards provide wonderful variety. In total, the route overcomes about 500 meters in altitude. It thus offers fast sledging fun for the whole family.

During the sled ride at the foot of the Grosser Mythen, there is repeatedly a fantastic view of the pre-Alps and the beautiful Schwyz valley basin.
