From Schwyz, drive towards Muotathal. After Schlattli, turn left towards Illgau and you will reach Illgau within a few minutes.
Please use the free parking spaces at the valley station. Additional free public parking spaces are located below the church. From there, it’s approximately a 200-meter walk eastward to the valley station of the Illgau - St.Karl aerial cableway.
Take the train to Schwyz station and change there to bus line No. 501 towards Muotathal. Get off at the Seilbahn Illgau stop and then take the Ried - Illgau aerial cableway, which brings you to the center of the village Illgau. In the village of Illgau, walk about 200 meters eastwards to the valley station of the Illgau - St.Karl aerial cableway.
