There are various options for the descent over the Steinberg from Klein Titlis to Trübsee. All variants lead over the glacier in the upper part. There is a risk of crevasses. The classic "S" is the easiest and most rewarding option to circumvent the larger crevasse zone. Other variants are: "GaF" (Close to the rock), left of the cable car and "Never Sun".

- Be especially careful in fog or poor visibility.
- Complex route diversion in the "Bärentatzen" zone.
