The ski tour from Realp to the Stotzigen Firsten is one of the most popular tours in the Gotthard region. The broad northeast shoulder often offers good snow conditions, making the tour a popular destination for ski tourers.
The tour starts in Realp. From there, the route initially follows Witenwasserenstrasse. Shortly before Mittglischgaden, it branches off to the right and continues along the summer hiking trail. At “Auf den Böden,” the actual ascent to the Stotzigen Firsten begins. The tour’s destination lies on the ridge at 2,747 m above sea level and offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.
The route is relatively unexposed and is therefore often suitable even when conditions elsewhere are less favorable.
The descent follows the same route back to Realp.

The starting point in Realp is easily accessible by car from Andermatt or via the Furka car ferry.
ParkingDaytime parking spaces are available outside the village (near MGB / Grotto Stella d'Oro) and in the village square. These spaces are available for a fee between 6 a.m. and midnight. For more information, contact the Realp municipal office.Public transportationRealp, the starting point, is easily accessible via the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway.
