“The Overwhelming”: Niederbauen-Chulm

The Niederbauen Chulm is the most visited mountain from Emmetten. The aerial cableway brings you about 2 km closer to your destination, that is 800 meters elevation above Emmetten. The hike follows the flat path along the Hofad to Alp Tritt. There begins the ridge of the Niederbauen-Chulm directed to the west. Almost at the top near the notch, the path takes the traverse towards Vorder-Chulm. The view almost straight down into the depth and into the infinite vastness is overwhelming. For the return, we recommend taking the same path.
