- Destination: Rigi Staffel
The starting point of this challenging hike on the northern slope of the Rigi is the hiking paradise Seebodenalp. It lies on a large, prominent terrace at 1020 m above sea level, above Küssnacht am Rigi. At your feet sparkles Lake Lucerne and high above towers Rigi Kulm. The Alp surrounded by forest is most quickly and comfortably reached by the Küssnacht-Seebodenalp aerial cableway. Rustic mountain restaurants invite you to enjoy and linger.
Notes
You can find the current operating status of the lifts and hiking trails here.
So that future generations can also enjoy the Queen of the Mountains, please dispose of your waste at the stations or take it home with you. Thank you.

Author´s Tip / Recommendation of the author
As a reward, I treat myself to a cool Rigi beer at the Lok 7 restaurant on Rigi Staffel. Brewed at the Hotel Seebodenalp.
