Urner legend trail for endurance hikers - b) Plattenberg-Bodmi (Seedorf)
Route Urner legend trail to Schartihöreli, with Gietisfluh cable car, approx. 4 hours.
Start: from Isenthal post bus stop Dorf - On the «historical Chlitalerweg, along the Bear Trail to the valley station Gietisfluh (uphill ride) - there ascent to Wanggrat (to the legend picnic spot) – ascent to the Schartihöreli rest area and ascent for sure-footed 50 m to Höreli. Return via Mittst Scharti - Chilenrütti – below which is the junction to Plattenberg and Bodmi; with the Bodmi train back to Seedorf. This route is somewhat more demanding than the pack trail, steep but very beautiful.

Outbound route: from the village Isenthal to Kleintal-Bergli, in the Gietisfluh valley station exhibition. On foot: from Nei to Wanggrat (with legend experience spot) then to Schartihöreli. Return route: via Scharti-Birchi-Isenthal

The Urner legend trail over the Schartihöreli (Urner viewpoint mountain) offers insights and views into the original Swiss legend world. The start is the adventurous post bus ride, the cable car ride on Gietisfluh (Musenalp), the ridge hike over Schartihöreli with views of the lake and the Urner valley floor and the scenic beauty of the Kleintal (Chlital). 24 Urner legends can be discovered at stopover and viewpoint points via app/smartphone - as an emotional listening experience.
