Walk between Weggis and Hertenstein (or vice versa)
The walk from the Weggis boat station to the Hertenstein boat station follows an idyllic path along Lake Lucerne – partly along the lakeside promenade, partly on the sidewalk. The path is flat, well-maintained, and without any significant inclines, making it a very easy and pleasant stroll. Thanks to the level terrain, the route is ideal for families with strollers, as well as for people with limited mobility and wheelchair users. Along the way, beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding mountains open up again and again. The path invites you to take a leisurely stroll. Several benches are available along the route, inviting you to linger and enjoy the scenery. You can conveniently return by boat.
