Hike on the Zingel with a wonderful view of Lake Lucerne and Lake Alpnach as well as the mountain scenery.

The hike starts at the Ennetmoos, Morgenstern post bus stop and goes through the residential area near Allweg. At the Hinterbach farm, the path goes steeply uphill across a meadow. The view of Stansstad and Lake Lucerne opens up. The hike then leads above Lake Alpnach through the Zingelwald to the Zingel. This is a beautiful viewpoint over Lake Lucerne and the mountain scenery. The hike continues over the Mueterschwandenberg, past various farms, to St. Jakob.

Enjoy a farm ice cream and a coffee at the Bäsäbeiz Fägnäscht.

The return trip from St. Jakob to Ennetmoos, Morgenstern can be made by post bus.

Safety guidelines

The hiking trail through the Zingelwald is only recommended in dry weather since the forest is on the north slope.
