Seetal

  • Area
Seetal

The Seetal region is defined by Lake Hallwil and Lake Baldegg. From the hills of the Seetal, you’ll be treated to an impressive panoramic view of the Central Swiss Alps, including the Rigi, Pilatus, and Titlis. Well-maintained hiking and biking trails wind through the valley, connecting the two lakes and the castles of Heidegg, Hallwyl, and Lenzburg. The lakeside villages feature numerous beach resorts and restaurants serving fish specialties. On Lake Hallwil, you can take a ferry from one shore to the other. And the Seetal Railway connects Lucerne with Lenzburg.
