Stadtkeller Concert: Michael von der Heide

Michael von der Heide dedicates his new show, “von der Heide singt Knef,” to Hildegard Knef on the occasion of her 100th birthday. Having always been captivated by her witty, timeless lyrics, he performs the songs of the great chansonnière with respect and a personal touch. The program features classics such as “Für mich soll’s rote Rosen regnen” and “Tapetenwechsel,” as well as rarely heard gems. These are complemented by a selection of his own songs. Accompanied by his long-standing band, he creates a concert evening that is as humorous as it is profound—full of melancholy, joie de vivre, and unforgettable chansons.
