The big bang of dialect rock took place 50 years ago and Rumpelstilz was founded 50 years ago. The legendary Bernese band around the dialect prototype Polo Hofer with Hanery Amman, Schifer Schafer and Küre Güdel has shaped Swiss rock and pop history like no other. "Rote Wy", "Rosmarie", "Uf Däm Länge Wäg", "Kiosk" and many others are songs for the ages. They are melodies that have burned themselves into the collective memory of generations. Lyrics that are among the best that Switzerland has to offer in terms of pop and rock. The band Rumpelstoff with Levi Bo (vocals, guitar and keyboard), Marc Gerber (guitar, vocals) and Stefan Künzli (saxophone, vocals) pays tribute to the song pearls of Rumpelstilz on their 50th birthday. It leaves the core, celebrates their soul and their poetry, but interprets them in its very own way.
