Fireplace Chappelen-Wäldli, Stoos

The fireplace can be reached from the mountain stations Stoosbahn or Luftseilbahn Morschach-Stoos. An asphalt path leads to a small forest. The somewhat secluded fireplace in a clearing can then be reached via a small forest path.

The car-free mountain village can be reached by the steepest funicular in the world or by the small, cosy aerial cable car. Both mountain stations are in the immediate vicinity of the fireplace. Located on the edge of the forest, it offers shelter and an idyllic atmosphere with a great view of the surrounding mountains. The fire pit is kept simple with benches to sit on and a fire cooker with grate. About 100 metres from the fire pit is a large playground and play area.
