The Brunnerboden snowshoe route is the extension snowshoe route of the "Rieter".

The intermediate Stoos-Brunnerboden trail starts at the same place as the easy "Rieter" trail, located just 50 m from the upper station of the Schwyz-Stoos funicular.

From there about 700 m gently uphill to Blüemlisegg, then a further climb of about 700 m to Brunnerboden. From there it goes almost level to the Brunnerboden restaurant, whose terrace invites a stop. Then it continues past the Skihaus Ibach and the Stoos Hüttä back to the village of Stoos.
