Fürenalp

After enjoying the fantastic view of the surrounding mountains, the large trampoline takes you even higher, so that you can almost touch the mountain peaks. Once you've had your fill of the fantastic playground, you can set off on the Grotzli trail in search of marmots, butterflies, frogs, mountain lakes and everything else Fürenalp has to offer. Afterwards, you can enjoy a delicious alpine lunch at the mountain restaurant. Those who prefer to prepare their own food will find a barbecue 200 m from the mountain station. This is located by the Fürenbach stream and has a large table and 2 benches.

How to get there: By car: Pass the monastery on Wydenstrasse. After 240 m turn right onto Wasserfallstrasse. 2 km to the valley station. Free bus from Engelberg railroad station to Fürenalpbahn valley station. On foot, follow the signposted hiking trail via Eienwäldli - Fürenalpbahn valley station.
