2 day route stage 2: Kurhaus Heiligkreuz - Marbach 48km

47.82 km long
Difficulty: difficult
Condition: difficult
Tour
Discover the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch with a mountain bike,

e-bike or gravel bike. Including accommodation, breakfast, and luggage transport –

for an uncomplicated bike experience on well-signposted routes.

You start with a downhill run into the valley floor of the UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch and

then tackle the ascent to the charcoal burner village Romoos. On simple roads

you then arrive via wooden paths at the Stächelegg, where there is the option for a detour to

the Napf. From the Stächelegg you race almost 15 km via Trub to Trubschachen. A

short visit to the Kambly Erlebnis is worth it. From here the path follows the rivers Ilfis,

Schärligbach and Schonbach back to the valley station Marbachegg, where the circle closes

and the tour ends.
