Those who want to forgo the ship can walk along the "Weg der Schweiz" on foot along the Urnersee towards Isleten - Seedorf-Flüelen up to the intermediate station of the Flüelen-Eggberge cable car. Or for the very sporty, there are nice options to hike the entire way up to the Eggbergen.
