- Start: Andermatt Station
- Destination: Nätschen
Nätschen is the sunny slope of Andermatt. The winter hiking trail leads over the closed Oberalppass road, where skiers and sledders can also be found. Where the pass traffic usually rolls in summer, the path gently ascends along the many bends. The higher you go, the better the view of the mountains of the Gotthard region and into the Urserntal. You can even watch the skiers on the Gemsstock as they master the steep valley run.
Once at Nätschen, restaurants with views over the high alpine area up to the Furka Pass invite you to soak up the sun. Nätschen is a small terrace (1850 m above sea level); to the north, the slope stretches up to the ridge of the Schijenstock. From the height down to Andermatt, you can either take the train or the Gütsch Express.
