Around Lake Alpnach

From the Stansstad Bay, the route goes through the impressive Rotz Gorge up to Betti. Then the path continues on a meadow trail north past the Drachenflue to Vorderrüti. Next follows the descent to Eichiried. At the end, it goes through the nature reserves with reed-covered bays (information boards) to Alpnachstad train station. From there, you can comfortably return by Zentralbahn to Stansstad.
