Tour

Round route around the striking Schrattenfluh with steep climbs and interesting singletrails!

The unique but demanding route starts in Sörenberg and follows the signs of bike route 817 for the entire distance.

Via Birkenhof - Junkholz you head towards Flühli. In Flühli the first climb on an alpine road towards Hilfern Pass awaits. This first effort is immediately rewarded by the view of the impressive Schrattenfluh, which is unique. You continue towards Wasserfall to Hürnli and then pass the Imbrig Alp (definitely stop and try the fine alpine cheese) to Unter Lochsitli. Via Bumbach you ride to Kemmeriboden, where the climb starts again. Via Schönisei - Schneeberg you head towards Salwideli, where the beautiful moorlands bloom with colorful orchids. Via Südelhöchi you go back down to Sörenberg.

Great insights into this bike ride are provided by the blog post Mountain biking around the Schrattenfluh.
