INFO: On the section Ruchegg - Eigen, timber work is being carried out until the end of 2025. The Auszeithweg is diverted via Biberstock road. The detour is appropriately signposted.
The Auszeithweg starts at Rothenthurm station and quickly passes houses into the silence of the forest. Already at the Bruder Klaus chapel, there is the first invitation to pause. In the small chapel, one can take a moment to reflect inside; just above there is a yoga and meditation spot.
Impulses for inner strength
In this way, the path leads beneath the canopy of leaves, where each step helps the hiker to come more into themselves. Sporadically, signs along the way provide impulses to immerse all senses in the here and now. After about two hours of walking time – of course, you can take considerably more time – the path slowly turns back to the rows of houses in the upper village.
Strengthening with a power package
The perfect culinary accompaniment is the power package, which can be obtained at the Kronenmetzg. There are various benches along the path for enjoyable strengthening and resting.
