Bike route Bärchi

From Flüelen you reach Isleten via the Swiss Path. From there, an impressive mountain road with several hairpin bends leads to Isenthal. Due to the exposed road alignment, you enjoy a magnificent view of Lake Uri and the lower Reuss Valley. Just before the village of Isenthal, a natural road branches off to the right. It takes us to the Vorderen Bärchi. At the small valley station of the aerial cableway, which leads to the Obere Bärchi, tables and benches invite you to take a break. The contrasting landscape of the lower Reuss Valley and the view of Lake Uri, which blends into the mountain landscape like a fjord, are impressive. The following descent challenges senses and riding skills (difficulty level 2). At the forest clearing of the Obere Cholrüti, you can significantly increase the difficulty level with variant A. However, those who prefer the wide natural road over the mountain path have also made a good choice. Once you reach the lakeshore road, the route leads along the idyllic shore of Lake Uri, along the Swiss Path back to Flüelen.Note: Caution: After rainfall, there is often a lot of fallen wood and stones on the path!
