The Chäppeli cross-country ski trail is a charming circular route of about 3 kilometers in length. The trail is perfectly suited for beginners and enthusiasts looking for a relaxed route with scenic variety.

The Chäppeli cross-country ski trail leads you on well-groomed tracks through open snowfields and gentle terrain. After a short time, you reach a charming chapel idyllically nestled in the winter landscape. Here you can pause for a moment and enjoy the view of the snow-covered hills – a place that radiates peace and reflection.

The next section takes you directly past the popular mountain restaurant Schwendi-Kaltbad. This cozy inn invites a break where you can refresh yourself with a warm drink or a local specialty. The view from the terrace over the surrounding mountains and snow-covered forests is a highlight, especially on clear days.

The route continues through open terrain, offering wide views of the surrounding moorlands and mountains. The trail remains consistently easy and well passable, making it ideal for families and cross-country beginners. Although the route mostly leads through open terrain, wide areas alternate with small groups of trees, providing a varied route.
