From Hotel Niederbauen at the Niederbauen mountain station, the route first goes to the Alp cheese dairy Frutt. Afterwards, the circular route leads to Alp Unterst-Hütte. The Cheese Route then continues to Alp Tritt cheese dairy before returning to Hotel Niederbauen.
