Gersau - Bueel - Rueteli - Sellen - Chollerboden - Mettlen - Rotacher - Gersau

This adventure trail is marked with "Nature on the trail" signs and leads half on natural paths and half on asphalted roads.

The starting point of your circular hike is the Gersau boat station. On the mountain hiking trail you should definitely plan a visit in the Kirchenflueloch, where you not only have a breathtaking view of Gersau, but also the lake and Mt. Pilatus in the background as the crowning glory of this instructive hiking route.

Interesting habitats are portrayed at these seven stations. You will get to know valuable facts about 40 different plants, shrubs and trees.

At further eight stations point to the geological peculiarity of the Gersau region. They come across glacier reserves, round polished rocks, mighty granite boulders but also shell fossils. The village of Gersau lies on a large stream debris cone, which was formed geologically in recent times. In the Acher area, you can get to know the interesting facts about water use at a high-pressure micro hydroelectric power station.
