Lenzburg - Esterliturm - Eichberg - Hallwyl Castle

Right at the start of the route, a visit to the Stapferhaus is recommended. The interactively designed exhibition rooms brilliantly stage the engagement with current issues. The easy, approximately 14-kilometer hike leads from Lenzburg along the Aabach to Fünfweiher. Through the forest, it goes leisurely to the Esterliturm with the cozy fireplace area. The climb up the tower is worth it, as the viewing platform offers you a magnificent panoramic view. The hiking trail continues via Egliswil to Eichberg. Here, splendid panoramic views of the lake and mountains repeatedly open up. A stop at the Eichberg estate is a must. Here you will not only dine excellently, but you also have the opportunity to learn about organic vegetable farming and organic agriculture. If you want to extend the hike into a multi-day trip, the hotel rooms and holiday apartments at Eichberg provide an excellent base. Shortly before the destination, another culinary highlight awaits you – the Lindenmann Winery in Seengen. On eight hectares, the Lindenmann family mainly cultivates the grape varieties Pinot Noir and Riesling Sylvaner. Tours and tastings are possible upon request. After just under four hours, you reach Hallwyl Water Castle, where you can end the day with a visit to the historic exhibition.
