Immensee - Chiemen circular hike

Immensee boat station – Baumgarten – Itelfingen – Baumgarten – Immensee boat station

From the Immensee boat station, stroll along the lake on an asphalted path to Baumgarten in about 15 minutes.

At the gravel parking lot above, the "Root Path" begins along the Chiemen peninsula to Itelfingen. This path in wild forest nature offers wonderful views, nice barbecue, and bathing spots. You reach Itelfingen in about one hour.

From there, return via the forest road to Baumgarten and then back to the starting point in about 30 minutes.
